Bra Size Chart

Two measurements are all you need to find your size: your underbust (band) and your bust. The difference between the two determines your cup size.

How to Measure

  1. 01

    Band size

Wrap a soft measuring tape around your ribcage, right under your bust where the bra band sits. Keep the tape level with the floor, snug but not tight. Note the measurement in inches and match it to the band chart below.

  2. 02

    Bust

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, typically at the nipple, keeping it level and snug. Write this measurement down as well.

  3. 03

    Cup size

Subtract your underbust measurement from your bust measurement. The difference in inches gives you your cup size in the cup chart below.

In between? Half-cup sizes such as B½ and C½ are available, so you never have to settle for a size that is almost right.

Good to Know

  • Sister sizing. The same cup volume exists on different bands. If the band feels too tight, go up one band size and down one cup size: 34C, 36B and 32D all hold the same cup volume.
  • Between two sizes? Choose by feel. If you prefer a snugger fit, take the smaller size.
  • Measure twice. Your measurements can shift between morning and evening, so measure at both times for a clearer picture.
  • Uneven bust? Use your larger breast as the guide when measuring.
  • Re-check regularly. Weight, pregnancy, age and lifestyle all change your size over time, so re-measure periodically rather than assuming your old size still applies.
